Frederick in Flight is one of the most popular events held in HD-19. Ballooners from across the world come to our little corner of Colorado to share their love of flight with local families. Although the weather did not cooperate for the morning balloon launches, we were able to experience two nights of wonderful engagement with our community. And our souvenir stickers were a huge hit!!
Despite the uncooperative weather, the nighttime "glow session" provided us with some breathtaking views of the balloons illuminated against the night sky. In the morning, skydivers delievered the American Flag via parachute and ensured that those in attendance had the chance to enjoy themselves. We were lucky enough to be joined by Weld County Democrats District Vice Chair Jeff Barton and our volunteer, Connie, to pass out information on the campaign and talk about the issues.
